Extended scale sailing season
- The sailing season for 2008 is now officially finished Due to bad weather some of the scale events did not run.
- Therefore for six weeks starting OCT 2008 we will be running schooner scale racing events on a Wednesday afternoon at Fleetwood .

Next Open TT Laser meeting at Fleetwood 14th of December. We welcome all laser skippers to this event, and if you don't have boat and would like to sail a laser, a spare laser is available .

Club details Fleetwood MYPBC
The club house is located on the main promenade
in Fleetwood Lancs There are two lakes, one for model yachting, the other boating
and sail training. We have our own club house at the side of the Model Yachting
with plenty of parking area. The lakes and surrounding area are owned and
maintained by Wyre Borough Council who are always very helpful to the club. .
The Fleetwood Model Yacht & Power Boat
Club was formed in 1929 and the lake, as we know it today, was officially opened
in 1932. In the same year the club held its first National
Championship for 6 Metre model Yachts.
In the following year, 1933, the British Open A Class Championship was
held for the first time at Fleetwood. Since that time Fleetwood has held many
major National and International Championships for many classes of boats. We
have a racing section for model yachts rules and a thriving Scale
section. This section is active in all aspects of scale and semi-scale, both
yachting and power.
Over the years there have been constant improvements to the clubhouse and the lake
facilities and it is now one of the finest
clubhouses in the country.
